The disease of our age, back and lower back pain. Pains that we do not pay attention to in our busy work life but affect our daily lives. The reason why mothers at home and teachers at school say “stand up straight, my child” when we are children. Most of them are caused by the weakness of the waist and back muscles. Appropriate strengthening of the back muscles supports the body to stand upright.
The configuration of our desk during the day is also important in the origin of these pains. The ideal position is the height of the chair so that the knees are not folded and the foot is fully on the floor. Likewise, the hip joint should be at an average of 90 degrees and the waist and back should be as straight as possible. The neck should remain upright and if a computer is used, the computer position should be adjusted so that the head is upright and can easily see the screen.
Sitting with too much slouching causes low back pain and slouching causes back pain. Excessive bending of the neck during work causes stiff neck.
